Clubs(Collective Leadership Uttered Blatantly)

Overview

Techno India Group - Institute of Management aspires and thrives not only to impart curricular knowledge but also create an atmosphere of creative – collective culture which seeks to engage the members of this institution (students, faculty and staff) to blend and gain together. To carry forward that vision, the department has decided to initiate a new session in the schedule of the students:

In this session, the students of this school take part in different groups (known as CLUBS), and are encouraged to perform relevant tasks in every week. The teachers are participants in these CLUBS but not guides. Students’ autonomy over managing these clubs is considered to be the prime focus of this programme, which we believe, imbibes within the students a sense of collective leadership and team effort, along with nurturing the creative souls of the students

Besides, the venture also aims to provide a portal of fresh air and fun amidst the concrete walls of this “hectic” management curriculum.

Cine Club

The members of the Cine Club meet every week to organize movie shows within the campus, followed by a rich discussion on the same. Journeys through mainstream as well as alternative avenues of World Cinema with a focus on Management is the motive of the Cine Club.

Booking Reading Club

The members conduct group reading sessions on relevant books, publish reviews in external or internal magazines. The members also conduct story telling sessions using the space of the Department

Club of Theatrics:

The Club of Theatrics meet every week to produce original Theatre productions with an aim of bringing transformations (howsoever small they may be) to the managerial culture.

Debating Society

Members of the Debating Society arrange weekly debates on cutting edge issues to foster a culture of positive critique among students.

Club for Social Change
